North Sligo Agricultural Show

Welcome to North Sligo Agricultural Show 2026.

I am delighted as Chairman of the North Sligo Agricultural Show to present this, the 78th Annual Show, which will be held on Saturday 1st August 2026.

Our hard working voluntary committee endeavour to expand and cater for all the various groups, exhibitors and spectators each year to ensure that the show continues to be the huge success that it is today. The committee are bringing the show from strength to strength ensuring we are moving with the ever evolving times.

We have a packed programme of events throughout the day, comprising of cattle, sheep, horses, ponies, poultry and home industry exhibits along with a fun filled afternoon with kids entertainment, dog show, bonny baby, face painting, sheep shearing and lots more to see and do (see full programme here).

The cookery demonstration is back again this year, due to popular demand, and will take place through out the day by celebrity chef Adrian Martin from Virgin Media. We have also invited local musicians and dancers to join us from 1.00pm and Robert Mizzell takes to the stage from 3-5pm followed by crowning of Queen of the Show.

The Monster Raffle will take place in Langs Bar Grange on Sunday evening 2nd August at 8.00pm.

It takes a considerable amount of money to run our show every year and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our generous sponsors for their continued support through the years. I would also like to thank our hard working committee, stewards, helpers on the day, landowners, and property owners, as without the use of their facilities, our show would not be the success it is today.

Last but not least, I would like to thank our exhibitors and the general public for their continued support each and every year and we hope everyone has a safe and memorable day.
